Chapter 40: The Energy That Creates Worlds

An ode to my life, my mission, and creating what calls you.

I have always felt a lot. Even as a little girl, I sensed there was something more moving beneath the surface of things. Have you ever sensed a feeling in a room? A spark between people? The electricity of an idea? The strange pull towards something before I had the words to explain why? The quiet knowing that some moments were more than moments? They were invitations.

I didn't really have a language for it then. I do now.

Energy.

Everything carries it. People carry energy. Words carry energy. Ideas carry energy. Places carry energy. Dreams carry energy. Stories carry energy. Our creations carry energy. Even the things that do not exist yet seem to carry a kind of energy - calling us towards them, asking us to notice them, daring us to bring them to life. And perhaps that is what creation really is. Not always inventing something from nothing. But becoming present enough to feel what is already asking to exist.

The invisible language of life

As I grew older, I wandered through life experiencing the intricate details of energy. Sometimes the energy was felt really loudly. At other times it was really subtle and quiet. Sometimes through breathtaking synchronicities that seemed far too perfectly timed to be coincidence. Like a person appearing at exactly the right moment. Like a sentence landing when I needed it most. Like an idea arriving seemingly from nowhere. Like a door closing, only for another one to open somewhere I never thought to look. Like a feeling that wouldn't leave me alone. A calling that kept calling.

There have been moments in my life where everything seemed to whisper: Pay attention.

And so I began paying attention. Not perfectly. Not constantly. But enough to realise that life has a rhythm of its own. There are currents we can fight. And there are currents we can learn to move with. My life has been wonderfully serendipitous in that way. It has twisted. Turned. Broken open. Rebuilt. Surprised me. Deeply humbled me. Expanded me. And somehow, through all of it, there has been a thread. Creation.

Create what calls you

I believe some ideas arrive because they are looking for someone willing to carry them.

A story.

A business.

A movement.

A painting.

A conversation.

A book.

A new way of living.

A tiny idea scribbled into the Notes app at 2am.

Not every creation needs to change the whole world. Sometimes it only needs to change your world. And sometimes, by changing your world, it quietly begins changing somebody else's too. That is why I keep returning to these four words: Create what calls you.

Because I know what it feels like to be called. And I know what it feels like to ignore the call. The call rarely disappears. It waits. It whispers. It nudges. And occasionally, it becomes so loud that you can no longer pretend you cannot hear it.

I don't think our greatest work always comes from asking, What should I create?

Sometimes the better question is: What is already trying to be created through me?

There is a beautiful difference. One comes entirely from the mind. The other asks us to listen.

Presence is where the magic begins

But to hear what is calling us, we need something increasingly rare. Presence.

We need enough stillness to notice. Enough spaciousness to feel. Enough trust to follow something before we understand exactly where it will lead. Because underneath all the noise, urgency, comparison and expectation, there is something incredibly intelligent within us.

A knowing.

An aliveness.

A creative pulse.

When we become present, we begin touching the core essence of things. We stop merely looking at life. We begin feeling it. And when we feel deeply enough, we create differently.

Our words have more truth.

Our work has more soul.

Our relationships have more depth.

Our ideas have more electricity.

Our presence has more presence.

Perhaps that is why I have become so fascinated by the space between being and creating. Because I no longer believe they are separate. Who we are enters what we make. Our energy enters the room before our strategy does. Our intention leaves fingerprints on our creations.

And when something has been created from a place of truth, love, curiosity, courage and presence… you can feel it.

What I want to do with this one wild life

As I look forward, I feel something enormous.

Not enormous in the sense of fame or scale or achievement. Enormous in aliveness.

I want to breathe more life into life.

I want more magic.

More wisdom.

More wonder.

More beautiful conversations.

More ridiculous ideas scribbled on pieces of paper.

More rooms where people remember what they are capable of.

More courage to follow the strange little nudges.

More creations born simply because someone's soul whispered, This.

I want to create things that carry energy.

Words that wake something up.

Stories that make someone feel less alone.

Ideas that become portals.

Questions that open doors.

Spaces where people can hear themselves again.

I want to help people meet the ideas waiting inside them.

To sit across from another human and say: Tell me what keeps calling you.

And then help them give it shape. A name. A voice. A beginning.

Because sometimes people don't need another person to tell them what to do. They need someone to witness the spark. To see the possibility. To ask the question that unlocks the next question. To remind them that the thing tugging at their heart might be worth listening to. That is the work I want to spend more of my life doing.

Creation through me.

And creation through me, for others.

The energy that creates worlds

There is an energy that creates worlds.

Whatever name you give it - life, consciousness, creativity, love, God, the universe, imagination - I believe we encounter glimpses of it whenever something comes alive.

When an idea becomes real.

When two people meet and something shifts.

When words become a story.

When pain becomes wisdom.

When imagination becomes form.

When somebody finally says yes to the thing that has been calling them for years.

We are not separate from that creative energy. We participate in it. Every time we choose to make something where there was once nothing, we participate. Every time we choose love over fear, curiosity over certainty, expression over suppression, we participate. Every time we turn towards the quiet voice inside us and say, Okay. I'm listening, we participate. And maybe that is one of the great privileges of being alive.

We get to create. We get to take this invisible, mysterious energy inside us and turn it into something another human being can experience.

A sentence.

A song.

A company.

A meal.

A garden.

A child raised with tenderness.

A friendship.

A solution.

A movement.

A moment.

A life.

Worlds within worlds within worlds.

And somewhere inside all of them is energy. Moving. Connecting. Becoming. Creating.

My next chapter

So this is my ode…

To the little girl who felt everything before she understood any of it.

To every synchronicity that made me stop in my tracks.

To every detour that eventually revealed itself as part of the road.

To every ending that created space for another beginning.

To every person who has shared their energy with me.

To every idea that found me.

To every creation still waiting.

And to this next chapter of my life.

I don't know everything I will create from here. I don't want to. There is something delicious about leaving room for mystery. But I know how I want to meet it.

Present.

Open.

Curious.

Alive.

Listening.

Creating.

I want to follow what has energy.

I want to honour what has heart.

I want to make room for wonder.

I want to create things that make people feel more connected to themselves, to each other, and to the extraordinary possibility of being alive.

And I want to keep asking one beautiful question:

What wants to come alive through me now?

Because perhaps our callings aren't destinations we finally arrive at. Perhaps they are relationships. Conversations between who we are and who we are becoming. Between the invisible and the visible. Between energy and form. Between the dream and the creation. And perhaps a meaningful life is simply one where we become present enough to hear the call… and brave enough to answer it.

So here I am. Listening. Feeling. Creating. Becoming!

Ready for the synchronicities.

Ready for the magic.

Ready for whatever wants to move through me next.

There is an energy that creates worlds.

And it is moving through all of us.

The question is:

What will you create with it?

Create what calls you.
